REFUEL is held every Thursday night on campus at 7 p.m. This devotional is a great time to
worship God in prayer and song, to hear a short devotional from God's
Word, as well as to fellowship with other Christians and refreshments.
$2 TUESDAY is a meal served every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the campus house. This event is designed to provide a cheap meal for college students and to help them build relationships. The good news is that visitors eat free.
SMALL GROUPSare designed to develop deeper
relationships with other Christians and to facilitate real growth with
God. They will meet bi-weekly during the semester.
CONNECTIONS is held every other Sunday during the
semester. Members from Sycamore open up their homes to host a devotional
and provide a meal.
INTRAMURAL SPORTSare various sporting activities that members of SOC may participate in
since SOC is a recognized organization of TTU. This is a great way for
people to build team work and exercise as well.
ALL-NIGHTERS are held once per semester. Various activities occur through the night with a spiritual emphasis.
FALL RETREAT is taken during one weekend in October to get away and focus on building a relationship with God and each other.
SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIPoccurs during the week of Tennessee Tech's Spring break. The trip is devoted to working, serving, and sharing God's Word.
RIDE TO WORSHIP WITH US
If you don't feel comfortable going to worship alone or if you just don't want to waste the gas, feel free to ride to worship or Bible class with us to the Sycamore Church of Christ. Vans leave 20 minutes before each service. That's 8:40 a.m. on Sunday morning, 5:40 on Sunday night, 6:40 on Wednesday night.
